WHAT TO BRING
June in Istanbul features warm, pleasant weather, with average daytime highs around 25-30 °C (77-86 °F) during the day and around 15-20 °C (59-68 °F) cooler evenings, making it ideal for sightseeing.
The city sees plenty of sunshine, roughly 11 hours per day, with only about 5 rainy days throughout the month.
June is perfect for exploring on foot, visiting the Prince Islands, taking Bosphorus boat trips and dining outdoors.
Light, breathable clothing (cotton or linen) is recommended for the day, along with a light sweater or jacket for cooler evenings, particularly near the water. And walking shoes for sightseeing after class.
